Hello, my name is Lynette Collier, yesterday my daughter and I were at your store visiting our new additions to the family (Senegals). I discussed with the owner regarding a bird cage that my daughter purchase in which it was too large for the senegal. I had asked if we could make an exchange with a cage from your store. You had mentioned that you need the brand name of the cage, I spoke with the company's manager and he said that they register their own brand which is called Everilla. The cage is wrought iron non-toxic powder coated finish. Please advised if you are still interested. Thank you for your time and consideration. Lynette Collier

Greetings Dana!
I am now in South Carolina, it was a rough ride!
With my injured Wyatt, and the Finches, Apollo and Abbey with three tiny eggs in their nest...all in my Miata! Those tiny eggs had to be held by Angel's wings to have arrived here safely, no doubt!
I wanted to say hello, to repeat that I'm REALLY going to miss your gentle care with my beloved Wyatt. Dana, I did visit the vet in Jupiter that you suggested to have Wyatt checked out. He did not have any broken bones, as YOU stated...and YOU had suggested that Wyatt continue to be active, to allow him to use that injured claw.
And you stated "I'm not a vet", and you very kindly called this vet right there right then. I thank you for that, it rested my anxious mind to have him examined and to be informed that I could expect a full recoverey for Wyatt. HOWEVER...Dana, the vet recommended that I keep Wyatt in a aquarium so he WOULD NOT use his injured leg. So, upon arrival here in S. C., I went right out and purchased the aquarium and special cloth for the bottom of the container. Dana, he looked so confused, and he just kept his tiny foot tucked under his wing. The next morning after keeping a vigil that first day and night watching him in this glass container,, my gut feeling was saying, "this just doesn't seem right for Wyatt"...and I literally could "see" YOU, Dana, shaking your head, agreeing with me! So, I returned Wyatt to his big house, and he began to use that claw. He regained that "never give up spirit" that he is so loved for! I needed to let YOU know Dana, that although you may not have the peice of paper to announce you are a" vet", you my friend, have a natural affinity for birds. Your the classic example of a professional that KNOWS from EXPERIENCE verses the text book professional.
You were RIGHT, YOU suggested right then to allow Wyatt to use his claw to keep it from closing up. So girl, continue tapping into your natural talent, your gut feeling, you have a GIFT for it.
Thankfully, I always felt very comfortable with you clipping Wyatt, and I felt your true love and care for all the beautiful birds that you care for.
So, enjoy your ride on Angel's wings, for that is how I "see" birds to be!
I'll see you when I'm back in Florida to visit family. By the way, I live on Lake Murray, the water's edge is a stone throw form the condo, and the views of sunrises, sunsets, the birds "talking" in the early mornings...ducks, geese, woodpeckers, hawks, well, you get the picture, it's magical! It was a wise choice to create this move.
Should you ever be in the area, come by and give a holler to Wyatt and I! Bye for now, Solas, Debra

Dana: Great looking website. I couldn't have done MUCH better myself! LOL I can't get ole Mr. Bodine outta my head. Been talking about him all day, since Lisa and I were there this morning and she placed her deposit on the baby (yellow naped). Let us know for sure if the baby will be at the store next Saturday! Will call you Friday to make sure. Have a great Easter!!

Hi, was just wondering if the same folks are running the place that were there in 1994? We purchased an Alexandrine (India) from Dean and a greenwing macaw (Phoenix). Just thought I'd say hello. By the way both birds are doing fantastic...spoiled rotten.

Thank you so much for the continuing help and instruction in the care and acclimation of my new parrotlet. I have not had a bird in over 45 years, so I need the help. I am extremely pleased with the staff, including those under age 3. I hope to take my bird home soon; as soon as it is ready to accept my home and be fed by an amateur. Thanks again for your guidance, encouragement and support.
